Highlights

At the beginning of the 19th century, Casa Leitão & Irmão was established. Founded by José Pinto Leitão in 1822 in the city of Porto, over the next 200 years the brand would build a successful career that is interwoven with the very history of jewellery and goldsmithing in Portugal.

António is a brand founded by two sisters belonging to the second generation of a Portuguese family of leather craftsmen. The name honours their father, António, who produced leather goods 40 years ago.

ASA is a Malay word that means "hope" in Portuguese. A tribute from the brand's founder, Stéphanie Branco, to her great-grandfather, Luís Esperança, the first craftsman in the family. Four generations later, in 2010, Stéphanie made her first pair of shoes entirely by hand in Paris, giving birth to ASA.
